In June of 2009 the France airbus disappeared off of the coast of Brazil. For the past two years the French government has been sending search teams to look for it. So far they have only been able to uncover about 50 bodies and some prices of metal. When events like this occur it brings fear into the life of people who are having to fly over seas. The fact that the plane still remains unfounded goes to show the vastness of the ocean. At times people could even view it as an endless pit and the fear of the unknown is one of the most frightening aspects of something.

Since they have yet to find the main wreckage of the plane, the black boxes have also not been found. For the airline company this would be one of the most helpful peices of the wreckage. In society today people always want to know the reasons and motives behind everything. The pointless news on celebrities that is reported weekly is a perfect example of how people today want to know everything about people they don't even know. While in the situation with the airbus it is important to find the black box so future flights can be improved, the idea of these people searching for the box can be a metaphor for how people search after useless things in their day to day life.

Shark Attacks

In Florida the peak of shark attacks is in the fall between August and September. Also you can see the time of day is in the afternoon and almost all of the victims tend are doing surface level activities, such as surfing and swimming. Florida has the most amount of shark attacks and they are usually great white sharks. 90% of shark attacks are on males.
